A year ago my family was rocked by the terrible discovery that my mother had incurable cancer  which had spread from her breast to her lymph nodes, ribs, spine, hip and ovaries.

I am running the London Marathon for Paul's Cancer Support Centre www.paulscancersupportcentre.org.uk a remarkable charity which works with health professionals  and hospitals offering care and support to cancer patients. The centre offers counselling and therapies such as massage, reflexology and hypnotherapy as well as a home visiting service and support groups to help give cancer patients and their families new strength and resilience to cope with the challenges cancer brings.
