Fraser aged 10, is Swimming the English Channel in his pool · 17 May 2020

Forest Holme Hospice Charity was set-up to ensure that everyone in the local community affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement gets the care and support they need, either at home or in our dedicated hospice facility. We need to raise £1M each year to deliver the highest level of care.

Story

I am Fraser aged, 10 and I decided during these difficult times, to raise money to help others in need.  It is 2yrs and 1yr, very sadly, since my Daddy and Grandpa died and I wanted to do something to honour them both.  This seemed like the perfect challenge!

So, I am going to swim the English Channel there and back in my pool, a magnificently, mind-blowing 5,634 lengths, to raise money for Forest Holme Hospice.  The Hospice provide amazing compassionate care and support, not only for the patient but the whole family too, when they can be experiencing the most traumatic event in their life.

Please sponsor me, as Forest Holme are unable to do their own fundraising during this time and they need to continue their marvellous work.

An enormous thank you to you all, it will keep me going on my long swim, which I estimate will take me just under 2 months, if I average 50 lengths a day!
