We provide specialist care and support to people with life-shortening illnesses.

Story

When my Mum was ill she was stuck in a hospital bed, hospitals are not nice places when you're ill, they're loud, there's scary beeps all the time, and there always seemed to be one patient who would wander the corridors at night and keep everyone awake!

Nurses are simply too busy to give patients the attention that some of them need. That is where hospices play a really important role. they provide patients with the level of care and dignity that we would all hope for if we were the ones stuck in the bed.

They rely on donations and fundraising - only around 1/3 of hospice funding is from the government which leaves a huge amount to be funded from elsewhere.

St Catherine's looked after my Mum at the end of her life when she was at a real low point. I know how much of a massive difference they made to her. Your donation could help them continue to make a difference to those people who really need it.

Also if you happen to find yourself in Bamber Bridge in Preston, they have a brilliant cafe on site!
