Story
Back in March 2011 we lost a Son, Brother, father, Husband and great friend Christopher 'Sas' Richardson.
Sas as he was known amoungst friends was 41 when he passed after a long battle with stomach cancer. Sas was a great father to 3 beautiful daughters Sophie, Molly and Eva and a husband to Elspeth.
As anyone who knew or met Sas they would all say the same thing about him that he was a genuine guy and just one of gods good un's! My relationship with Sas began on my first day playing for the Boars Rock Football team back in 1997 and to this day can still remember his warm welcoming with an out stretched hand and 'alright mate im Sas' since then it was laughs, jokes and Dundee United!!
In running the marathon im not only doing it in memory of Sas but to hopefully raise as much as i can for Macmillan and if all goes well and the legs dont hurt too much and the blisters dont get me i think ill carry it on into 2013 and tackle the London marathon flying the scottish flag in memory of our buddy
