Story
Last August 150 of you brilliant people turned out for the inaugural Fraser Reunion (on a majestic Thames party boat) and helped us raise close to £4000 for the Jonny Fraser Memorial Scholarship Fund. Following that memorable evening, please join us this year for champagne and dinner at the characterfully neo-gothic First Floor Restaurant in Notting Hill. As well as enjoying the company of good, decent people you'll be helping students from developing countries via a donation included in the ticket price - win win!
Simply make a secure donation of £50 via this webpage and we'll add you (and your guests if you would please provide names) to the table plan.
One thing to note is that this year we're restricted to only 70 places. First Floor is an intimate linen-and-candle-sticked venue providing a choice of excellent dishes (meat, fish and veggie options). The evening includes a glass of bubbly on arrival, a three course dinner including wine and coffee.
For those who don't know, Jonny Fraser was a fellow student at Oxford who drowned in an accident in 2005. The event is open to all friends and friends of friends - anyone who would like to connect with like-minded people and do a small bit for charity. Even if you can't make it, we would be thrilled to take a donation below!
The Jonny Fraser Memorial Scholarship Fund offers crucial support to post-graduate students (of any faith) from developing countries to puruse study in public health, agriculture and nutrition at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Since 2007 six scholars (two from Ethiopia, two from Kenya, one from Ghana and one from Nepal) have completed MSc's as scholars of the fund. Thanks for your support and don't miss this year's Fraser Reunion.
