Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is my annual Ride and Stride in aid of the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust and my church. On 9th September 2017 I will be fund-raising by visiting a planned route of churches.Up to 1,000 people will take part in Oxfordshire and it is always good fun and part of a national event. All the generously donated money goes to OHCT who then send 50% to my church. OHCT use their share to award grants to churches across the county towards the cost of fabric repairs and re-orderings.

I first took part in 2013 and surprised myself by visiting around 14 churches by going around Abingdon and area. Last year, by cycling into Oxford, I managed 25 churches. That is my personal goal this year (I hope that the rain isn't incessant as last year. So many interesting churches and chapels. Fewer seem to be going on behalf of our local church this year so I am taking the step of creating this Just Giving page. I already have pledges amounting to over £200 from the generous members of the congregation.
