Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Text donation code - MCCC82 - amount - to 70070.

I lost my father to cancer and it was a devastating time, seeing a strong, healthy proud man cut down by the illness. Many friends have also gone through this and the Marie Curie help the victims through the awful time. Last year myself and 2 work mates cycled from Whitehaven to Tynemouth (Coast to Coast) in aid of Marie Curie. Along with more work mates we will be doing the ride again in May.

I would like to thank all the lads and all that gave sponsor money for the Coast to Coast, the weather was awful but we did the ride and had a good laugh along the way.

Next Up is Paris to Swindon.

September 19th I will be meeting up with another 18 cyclists and heading over to Paris to cycle back to Swindon over 3 days. The trip will be led by Andy Cook and this will be an excellent experience. Again all money raised will be going to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Finally (October) I will be cycling across the Pennines with Steven Clark taking part in the Marie Cure Etape Pennines Sportive, a 78 miles ride.

Any and all sponsor money raised is hugely appreciated.
