Story

92Km across the whole of Scotland on a Stand Up Paddle Board, why not?!

On Saturday the 15th of September 2018 at 6.30am I will set off from Fort William (West Scottish Highland) on a SUP race board for the Great Glen Challenge through the Caledonian Canal connecting Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, Loch Ness to reach Inverness (Eastern Highland) on Sunday the 16th of September.

This will be split in two marathon sessions of 46km each and the plan is to paddle as hard and fast as possible making use of the wind and possibly large swell in the middle of the Lochs to propel me and my board at greater speed.

I am very much looking forward to some of the most breathtaking scenery but also a genuine challenge braving the elements.

My wish is to complete this adventure not only for myself but most of all for those that are not as fortunate and lucky as I am, this why I choose to support the Sarah Groves Foundation in "Enhancing Young Lives".
Any donations, big or small, will be greatly appreciated as well as your good luck messages!

See you at the finish line!
