I have decided to run the London Marathon again in memory of my Nan, Irene Downer. After successfully fighting off two separate forms of cancer over the course of her life, Nan heartbreakingly could not beat it a third time, passing away in her sleep on September 30th 2017. Nan was a role model to us all, she was truly one of a kind and we all miss her more than any words can say.

I have chosen to raise money for Ellenor as they cared for Nan after her terminal diagnosis, we will never be able to thank the nurses at Ellenor enough for granting Nan her final wish of spending her last days at home, and granting us time to say goodbye.
