Freddie's frogbike challenge · 18 May 2020

A community fund to help everyone respond to the Covid-19 crisis in Earlsfield and beyond. This includes running a food bank for people in need; providing hot meals for those self-isolating; and a range of community projects now and in the future.

Story

My name is Freddie. I am 5 years old and I am cycling as much as I can to raise money for our local Foodbank in Earlsfield, London.

My goal originally was to cycle 50 miles before school starts at the beginning of June but now I am trying to get to over 100! I am nearly there now.

St Andrew's engages and support many charitable causes with the aim of helping those in need in Earlsfield and beyond. Responding to the Covid-19 crisis, they support a range of community initiatives including: - The Community Kitchen: Their usually vibrant Home Community Café at St Andrews Church is now the community's kitchen. Cooking hot meals for the vulnerable and needy. - Earlsfield Foodbank: The Foodbank is being run temporarily from St Andrews as well. Food is distributed from the church every Thursday, with home deliveries to the housebound. The Earlsfield Community Response Fund will help them help with the costs of such inspiring community initiatives and will be available for other groups who need funds.Everyone cared for; no one alone.
