As Chairman of the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP), this is a cause that is very dear to me.

AVP helps people overcome the violence that plagues their life, either as perpetrator or victim.  We work with: people in prisons, victims of domestic abuse and those with mental health problems.  

The impact of our work can be life-altering.  We see this in our own organisation, where several ex-offenders now lead AVP's work across the country.

To help raise money for AVP, we'll be climbing the UK's three tallest mountains.  In 24 hours.  A genuinely terrifying prospect...
