Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
Both my Mum and Dad are ex RAF and unfortunately Dad passed a number of years ago in 2014 weeks before I last ran the London Marathon. He has been in my thoughts during training and will be for the duration of this event. Mum is now the chairperson for the Fundraising committee of SSAFA NI so this is supporting her efforts also!
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Last year our teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 85,000 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families.
