I have a dream that sparkly-haired girls will be treated the same as those with no sparkles in their hair.  Now is the time to rise, be thrilled, delighted and proud of your sparkles, for they are part of you. Now is the time to lift ourselves from hair-based injustice. All hair colours are equal."

I am starting a campaign to challenge the stigma attached to sparkly hair. I am raising money for Mind, the mental health charity, whose brilliant resources I used alot last year. I want to start a conversation about whether it feels 'acceptable' to stop dyeing your hair to cover sparkles, and to encourage us all to be proud of them and ourselves, rather than feeling obliged to cover them up.

I'm not in any way suggesting what other people do, that is entirely up to them - I'm just being the change I personally want to see in the world.
