Fundraising for Leeds Mind
Story
On Saturday 13th July staff at Fresh Fayre (Leeds Service Centre) will be taking part in walking the Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge. A demanding 24 mile (38.6km) walk, to be completed in under 12 hours.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge includes (in this order):
- Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres)
- Whernside (736 metres)
- Ingleborough (723 metres)
We believe in promoting a healthy working environment at Fresh Fayre, both physically and mentally which is why we would like to raise money for Mind especially as it was Mental Health Awareness week recently (13th-19th May).
Local Minds provide help and support directly to those who need it most. There's a network of around 130 local Minds across England and Wales that offer specialised support and care based on the needs of the communities they support.
Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time of the year. Leeds Mind enables people with mental health difficulties to flourish. They treat everyone with compassion and care. They believe recovery is possible for all, and encourage people to make informed choices in a safe environment.
