Story
Freya has always had very long hair and anyone that knows her will know how protective she is over it, even getting her to have a ‘quick trim’ is hard work!
Recently however, Freya saw a documentary on TV about a little girl who had lost her hair whilst receiving treatment for cancer, we explained why the little girl had lost her hair and Freya asked if she could give some of hers to help.
Having done some research on her behalf, Freya has decided that she would like to have a considerable amount of her hair cut off (around 10-12 inches) so that she can donate it to the Little Princess Trust, an overview of what the charity does can be found below. In addition to donating her hair, Freya would also like to raise £550 that will go directly to the Little Princess Trust to fund the process of turning her hair in to a wig.
We plan to complete ‘The Big Cut’ on 23rd July and any donations towards this important cause would be gratefully received!
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.
