This June I’ll be completing my own ‘Walk It’ challenge to help raise money and awareness for Crohn's & Colitis UK! :D

Recently, a close friend of mine from Uni called Lucy was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. We both study Musical Theatre and had to be taken out of our first year to go into hospital. It felt like her dreams had been snatched away from her. And we were all so heartbroken for her. Her battle has been far from easy, suffering flare ups and horrid feeding tubes just to keep her functioning. But after months in hospital, she is now back on campus with us all and learning to live a relatively normal life with an autoimmune disease.

This ‘Walk It’ will help raise awareness for those suffering with similar diseases and will build funds for research into cures and relievers.
