We've wanting to offer Scholarships to a number of therapists and emotional support workers who are working with gender and sexual minority clients in countries where there is virtually no LGBT infrastructure and community support and where LGBT people are experiencing high levels of discrimination and mental health distress. 

We've alread had applications from people in Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia and Colombia.  We want to be able to offer these therapists a chance to have some high quality training on the Pink Therapy International Summer School.

The content of this Summer School is drawn from highly regarded six day Essentials in Sexual Minority Therapy which was recently endorsed by BACP.  This is the second year Pink Therapy has run the Summer School, last year we had people attend from as far away as Thailand and Singapore and Denmark.

London Friend as a well respected registered charity have agreed to adminster the funds and Pink Therapy will recruit and award the bursaries.
