Story
My name is Ella and I am eleven years old. When I was two and a half I was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. I stopped speaking and have lost the use of my right hand. I get very anxious and have very little understanding of the world. I am still able to walk about at the moment but that may change, similarly I can still eat without the use of a tube but that may also change. I have symptoms of Cerebral Palsy, Parkinsons and Autism, as well as other challenges that Rett Syndrome produces.
I am generally a happy little girl who likes very much to be around my twin sister Jess and the rest of my family. My Mummy says I bring joy to everyone I meet with my beautiful smile and infectious giggle.
Please donate as much as you can afford to Rett Syndrome Research Trust UK to help find a cure for me and all the other girls out there suffering from this terrible disorder.
Thank you. Ella x
