Towards the end of August 2013 our team of 7 cyclists: Adam Labbett, James Kemp, Mikey Foster-Smith, Dan Foster-Smith, Carl Turner, Hannah Fouger and Charlotte Pennington (otherwise known as Londons Worst Cycling Team) will be setting of from Central London towards the Eiffel Tower, Paris.

With the worst of us only able to Cycle a measley 5 miles at the beginning of 2013, I'm sure you'll appreciate the challenge we have ahead of us...Because a team is only as good as its worst member.

The reason we are doing this?? to raise as much money as Possible for St Catherine's Hopsice in Crawley.

In April 2012 my mum Joan Pennington passed away at the hospice, and it was the best place it could have happened. The Staff are some of the most amazing and compassionate people I have ever come across, and it is clear that their only concern is the care of their patients.

This Hopsice relies on fundraising for nearly ALL of its funding - and we are cycling so that it can continue to offer patients and their families the excellent support and nursing care that I witnessed there.
