Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon · 3 March 2019

SpecialEffect enable fun, inclusion, independence and a better quality of life for physically disabled people across the world through the inspirational use of adaptive technology.

Story

We're proud to be kicking off 2019 by giving back to our local communities and forging friendships with local businesses by sponsoring the Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon.

This year sees the introduction of the all-new Frontier Business Challenge, which aims to help local businesses get fit, network, raise money for charity and have fun!

On 3 March 2019, a team of 19 runners from Frontier Developments will be taking part in support of our long-standing charity partner, SpecialEffect, and we cannot wait to cheer them on and raise money for a fantastic cause.

Who are SpecialEffect?
"We put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games.

By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, we're finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities.

But we're not just doing it for fun. By levelling the playing field, we're bringing families and friends together and having a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation." - SpecialEffect
