Head Up, is a full not for profit, UK Armed Forces Charity. Our mission is to stem the suicide rate and to improve the quality of lives within the Armed Forces community.

Story

Hi everyone,

On March 11th I will be climbing the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons continuously for 24 hours.

I am doing this to raise funds for "Head up" - a charity with an incredible goal I fully support.

They aim to reduce the number of suicides within the military community by creating a countryside retreat, members of this retreat will be able to step away from military or post-military life, and learn life-skills to allow them to deal with mental health issues, and access the support they need.

From sunrise to sunrise I aim to accumulate the same height through elevation gain as some of the world's most famous peaks - Ben Nevis, Mount Fuji, Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn to name a few.

In 2019 I lost a close friend to suicide, since then I have been looking for ways to support those most in need. I believe this is a great opportunity for me to do this and would be grateful if you can support me along the way.

I will be strengthening donations with a further 10% of all profits from my own business - Frontline Fitwear.
