Frosty Freeman is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
- You all know why I am doing this......
- Dawn fought hard and has won her individual battle. However lets make no mistake...Dawn is still fighting.....Fighting hard.... And unfortunately the war against Cancer is still running........
- 16 months ago "Remission" was a word that I hoped I would never have to say. But now "Remission" is a word I will treasure FOREVER!!
- I do not have the words to express my gratitude. My gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, friends and family for all the help and support they gave us both through our darkest of hours.
- This run is something I can and will do. I hope to raise as much money as I can. Macmillan is just the most amazing charity.
- You may not know.....I have been medically downgraded for over 10 years due to my left knee being wasted! So this event will be no walk in the park! I am already putting the miles and I am totally committed to finishing the 10 miles! It is the very least I can do.
- Dawn will be with me on the day, chasing people down with the Macmillan Charity box....Cheering me on.
- Charlotte will be there giving me all the support she can muster.
- Fred, my awesome pooch, is doing the run with me and he will make sure I keep going.
