Story
Receiving an end-of-life diagnosis can be difficult.
My family lived with this for two years... not knowing what was going to happen and when. What we would face and whether we could overcome these things..
We were dealing with devastation and heart break and all I can say is kind words of experience and supportive help from the hospice was such a ray of light.
I’m not great with words.... but all I need to say is there are areas that don’t have access to this kind of service, the hospice rely on charity support and I will continue to raise money for them at every opportunity. We can’t lose this kind of support.
We lost Dad (Pete) earlier this year. It’s still incredibly painful and raw, but the hopsice are still there for us.

At Weston Hospicecare, our team of palliative care experts is dedicated to working together to provide specialist support. Our social, emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical care helps guide people through one of the most difficult experiences they will ever face. With only 20% of our funding coming from the NHS, we have to raise £4 million each year to fund our care - something that's only made possible by our community.
