Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page, where we aim to raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice, through our touring shows, happening throughout 2016/17.

We kick started our touring shows with Miss V & The Beamers, which raised £4,000 towards our target in August 2016. We are now planning on continuing to fundraise for the hospice with various shows throughout 2016/17.

At all of our shows, money from programmes sold will go towards the running total, and our next big tour, with ticket and programme money going to the hospice will be in October 2017, where we intend to complete our goal of £10,000.

In 2007, I (Natalie) lost my mum to cancer, after a tiring and lengthy battle spanning a number of years. Towards the end, Mum was moved into a Hospice - something which I had never even heard of, but now, I am extremely thankful for. A place where family can go, whenever they want, and be themselves, in a comfortable environment. A place where the carers knew us all by our names, and got to know us, because they cared immensely. A place where, when the final day came, we were able to be around my mum, in an understanding environment, with support both during and after - support which I would have been lost without.

Hospices are the unknown aid for those suffering from terminal illness. They provide care, friendship, support and a calming, comfortable environment, when the option of being in your own home is taken away.

Our company aim is to help as many hospices as we can, all over the UK, and we are starting with St Wilfrid's Hospice, in Eastbourne, which not only helps them to continue running a fantastic venue, but also contributes to our local community.

We really appreciate any amount of money raised. It will go straight to the charity, and they will be able to keep their facilities running, and achieve their vision, of a community where people talk openly about dying, live well until the end of their life, and where nobody dies alone, afraid or in pain. It costs over £11,000 per day to run the hospice, so anything which we can give towards that is amazing!
