This October, I'll be running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research Wales. In 2020, my mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer - it was the worst news I had ever received. Everyday I am grateful for the incredible Doctors and Nurses who helped care for her. 

Although she is all clear, I still live in fear that one day I'll receive another dreaded phone call. I now understand the importance of Cancer Research and would like to do my part to help.

I (and I cannot stress this enough) can barely run 5km, but I'm determined to cross that finish line for my beautiful mum, and for all of those whose lives have been affected by Cancer.
