I started running nearly 5 years ago, to keep my son company and to help with my arthritis. It has helped my physical and mental health, and I regularly run with my dog.  Usually  I run parkruns, 5k, and 10k events, and have only done 2 Half Marathon. I thought this would be a challenge for me, last year and wanted to try again for a better time and such a worth while cause.

Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. Every day, families tell us how this support has a huge impact on their lives, but we want to make an even bigger difference to even more families. Last year, we provided over 150,000 grants or services across the UK.
