I’m taking part in the University of Sheffield’s Big Week to fundraise for Parkinson’s disease research. It’s a cause that means a lot to me as my late father died of Parkinson's related complications so this is very personal to me. I am very proud that my University is an active researcher in this field and together with many colleagues, I’ll be contributing to a 50,000km movement target. We’ve chosen this target because it’s now been more than 50 years since the last big breakthrough in Parkinson’s research - a statistic we hope will change soon thanks to research at the University of Sheffield. Every single donation will motivate me while I’m completing my challenge. Please donate to my Just Giving page and I've just increased my fundraising target for this brilliant cause because of all your support.
