We are a sixth form form group at Kings Langley Secondary School aiming to raise at least £800 for Cancer Research. 

Cancer Research UK transforms and saves lives. The goal of studying cancer is to develop safe and effective methods to prevent, detect, diagnose, treat, and, ultimately, cure cancer, a disease that has a huge impact on approximately 1 in 2 people throughout their lifetime. 

Throughout the months of October 2020 to March 2021, we will be hosting various fundraising events and raising awareness of the importance for Cancer Research.

As a disease that has touched many of us personally, and millions of others, we feel that it is imperative we continue to help fund the vital research and save lives. On top of this, the current pandemic has had a particularly significant impact on cancer patients as not only do they have to endure the distress of the disease but live with the fear of contracting Covid-19.

Any donations of any quantity would be highly appreciated.
