Fundraising for BBC Children in Need
Story
Ever wondered what happens to a group of fundraisers after they've danced to the macarena for 2 hours 21 minutes? Wonder no further friends, you're about to find out!
This year, Girlguiding's fundraising team are supporting Children in Need and Girlguiding's official partnership in true strictly style. We'll be groovin' and moovin' to the macarena for almost 2 and a half hours (2021) at 12.30pm Thursday 18 November.
You'll find us at London HQ or live on Teams for your added convenience.
For every £100 raised, you can send a request to spice up the challenge. And we'll celebrate reaching our total target with a Macarena Conga line like you've never seen it before!
Want to get involved? We can't promise it won't hurt in the morning, but we can guarantee it will be a jolly good time.

BBC Children in Need has partnered with BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing to add a touch of sparkle to this years Appeal. We are challenging our members to fundraise with a Strictly twist. There are so many ways you can get involved and take part. Whether you want to take on a dance challenge, go glam with your dress up day, get judging with Strictly scoring paddles, or simply add a sparkle to your bakes there's no limit to what you can do to raise money. The money raised through the partnership between BBC Children in Need and Girlguiding will be split equally between the two organisations and will go on to make a difference to young lives across the UK.
