The Salvation Army's international response to COVID-19
Campaign by The Salvation Army (RCN 214779 and in Scotland SC009359)
We have all been impacted in some way by the COVID-19 pandemic, whether it is directly by the virus itself or indirectly through the government measures needed in order to reduce its impact in our own communities.

Story

The Salvation Army works on a daily basis, there is particular concern for those who are homeless and rough sleeping and for victims of modern slavery. This is due to the disproportionate level of risk faced by people who are unable to self-isolate and who often possess underlying health conditions. Alongside helping with universal credit for those who are unable to meet their daily living costs. Anything donated during this challenge will to go towards helping the Salvation Army in the COVID 19 pandemic.

The team on our Online Academy have done live workouts for charity and they’ve been a big success. But we don’t want our unity and effort to end there. We want to strive forward and continue to help others less fortunate and those who have been massively affected by this pandemic. Using the same togetherness and community we’ve had throughout, let’s do what we can to make a difference where we can.

The coaches at Funktional Fitness are setting a challenge that everyone can get involved in and do their part. All we ask is you complete the challenge, donate £6 and tag 6 other people to do the same.

2.5k Run

15 Press Ups

15 Squats

15 Burpees

As fast as you can and challenge 6 others. Let’s do it team 💪🏼🔥
