Jen, Emma, James and myself are taking part in a 5k Inflatable Obstacle course on the 30th March 2019 to raise funds for Libby’s Tree of Hope page
Not only are Libby and her family really good friends of ours they are truly inspirational people and we are in awe of their continued strength and determination that they throw at this dieseae and we want to help and support them in any way that we can.
Libby will need and benefit from a variety of specialist equipment throughout her life. This includes equipment, house adaptations and therapy.
We are raising money to give Libby the best life and for her to be able to experience things every child should with her Mummy, Daddy and big Brother.
Libby was diagnosed with Bohring-Opitz syndrome (BOS) at 3 months old. It is an extremely rare condition which affects the development of many parts of the body. It is a life limiting condition with a high infant mortality.
There is no cure for Libby only symptom management however, we live in hope and maybe one day there will be treatment.
Thank you for reading Libby’s story, please join us on Libby's journey and help us to give her an amazing life. Whatever you can contribute will be gratefully received.
