Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We have been running a stall at the Furzedown Festival Funday for several years, raising money for two epilepsy charities, the National Society for Epilepsy and Epilepsy Bereaved in memory of my brother, David. We have fun thinking up new games each year, including animal vegetable competitions, roll-a-penny, pick-a-lolly, hoopla, treasure island and we always have lots of bunting!
This year we ran a brooch making workshop and lots of lovely people came and made beautiful floral brooches and hair clips from our collection of vintage buttons and amazing fabrics. We raised £40, and thank you for all your contributions. This will be split between the two charities, EB and NSE.
We are grateful for a very generous donation of fabric samples from E & A Wates on Mitcham Lane. And also thank you all for taking part with such enthusiasm and creativity and you for your generous support and donations.
If you would like to donate to EB, please follow the instructions at the bottom of this page. If you would like to donate to the NSE, please have a look at our other justgiving webpage.
Many thanks, and hope you enjoy your brooches.
best wishes, gillan and garry xxx
