Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am fundraising for a 5 year old boy named Jacob Buckett.

Jacob has Cerebral palsy and requires an operation within the next two months or faces life in a wheelchair.

I am running Bournemouth Marathon on 8th October to raise funds. Due to Jacob requiring the operation much sooner than expected, the money I am raising will contribute towards the cost of 2 years intensive physiotherapy that will be required after the operation.

As the operation and physio is required to help Jacob do what the majority of us take for granted I decided to undertake another challenge too. I am also aiming to complete 1000 miles this year in order to raise more funds.

I couldn't imagine not being able to run these days let alone walk, so I am hoping that my efforts will help in some towards keeping Jacob from being confined to a wheelchair.

So please if you can, make a donation and share my page to help with such a worthwhile cause it would be very much appreciated.
