I was very ill in September 2019 and for a short time thought I might not live until my 60th birthday. Fortunately I have recovered well and I want to walk 60 miles after I am 60 in June, hopefully raising some money along the way. We are walking the North Wales Way, which is exactly 60 miles.

Our beautiful Alex died aged 5, in 1997. She is loved, and missed, every day. We would like any donations in Alex’s memory to go to The Children’s Hospital Charity in Sheffield for the new Cancer and Leukaemia ward (Ward 6). We spent a lot of time with Alex on the old ward M3 in 1997, which was actually the new ward then, Alex being the first child to move in!
