Tandem Skydive · 30 October 2008

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, I am pleased to announce, that on the 14/02/09 I will be doing a tandem skydive jump from 10,000 feet in the air.

I ask for your support in donating to the MS society. This will not only help the research & study of multiple sclerosis, how it is caused & a possible cure but also with all your support it will help me to do my tandem parachute jump.

I am pleased to be able to support the MS Society as my wife was diagnosed 3 years ago. She suffered multiple relapses for approx 10 years but unfortunately due to the lack of knowledge & research, she was always told different things. I have now taken it upon myself to do something in the support of the MS Society.

Multiple sclerosis is the most common neurological disease affecting young adults, usually between the ages of 20 and 45 years. The MS Society is the largest nationwide charity dedicated to helping the 85,000 people with MS, their families and carers, providing practical support for today as well as funding vital research to give hope for the future.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please help me & donate whatever you can.

Many thanks for your support.
