Thanks to this refrigerated van 500 needy people in Jerusalem can receive daily meals. The van collects unused cooked meals and prepared food from top hotels, restaurants and banquet halls which is being delivered to the diners at Meir Panim soup kitchen.  

Help us in purchasing a refrigerated van for food deliveries in and around Netanya (central Israel).

The van will make daily visits to hotels and restaurants in the Netanya area and collect unused cooked meals that will be delivered to the diners at Meir Panim’s soup kitchen in Netanya. The majority of the diners are Holocaust survivors and new immigrants from Russia. This project will ensure that the needy receive quality nutritious food and instead of throwing food it will be used for a good cause.
