Our youth club is for young people with learning disabilities aged 14-25. We had a vote for a new name, and they decided to call it the Chill Out, because, like many of us, they like to meet with friends and have fun. But it tends to be more difficult when you have problems with learning and communication. At the club, we have some great young volunteers from mainstream schools who come along to share activities- from cookery to basketball, table tennis, dance- the list is endless.

For many young people with learning difficulties, chances to get out and about are restricted- we need to provide help to get people along to activities, and offer 1:1 support where it's needed.

...But we have run out of money, and have to close temporarily from April 9th. The goal is to raise enough money to open again in September.

All help will be really welcome- we already have an anonymous donor who has chipped in £100- SS, you know who you are!
