Run to the Beat 2013 · 8 September 2013 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I'm running the Nike Run to the Beat Half Marathon in September to raise money for The Stroke Association- a briliant charity that raises awareness of the signs of strokes as well as raising money for the research and support that is so vital to those that have been affected by stroke.

Most of us know someone who has had  a stroke. Every year 150,000 people have a stroke in the UK, that's one every 5 minutes. It would be fantastic if you could donate some money to this cause to help save and improve the lives of those who are affected in the future.

For those who know me well, you will know that I am not much of a runner, so this is going to be a big challenege for me! It would be wonderful motivation to raise as much as possible for this charity- so please help.
