Thank you for taking the time to look at my page :)
Heres a short story of why this walk means so much to me and my family :)
On the 4th of Decemeber 2008, A tiny little Miracle was born, weighing only 2lb and being only 10 inches long for someone so small and fragile she made the biggest impact on our family. I was 26 weeks pregnant when I gave birth to Delphine, my labour was so un-expected and suddon I didnt have time to think about anything, My little Miracle only lived for 17 minutes but in those few moments I grew to love her so much. The reason for this walk is so other mums of premmie babies dont have to suffer the loss and heartache that I and my family went through, We are doing a walk from Gloucester Royal Hospital to the Haywain public house in Quedgeley, there we will let off 26 pink balloons and a further 17 gold balloons, We hope to raise £250 for the Special care baby unit.
