Story
St Catherine's is an exceptional school for the education of students between the ages of 7 and 19 years who have speech, language and communication needs. These children and young people all deal with different challenges that effect them in different ways. They may have problems with production or comprehension of spoken language, with using or processing speech sounds, or with understanding or using language in a social context.
The school is very close to my heart as my brother Joseph, who has a language and communication disorder attended St Catherine's from the age of 11. They helped him in more ways than I could of ever imagined, from his communication abilities to his personal independence. They really make a positive impact on the future lives of their students.
St Catherine's serves each student with a specific programme, ensuring that the individual is catered to their particular needs, and their friendly, loving environment, gives each student the structure and support needed so they can learn efficiently. However, without charitable support St Catherine's would not be able to maintain their first class service provision, invest in new technology, or start any new programmes to help support the students, just to name a few!
The money you donate will go to St Catherine's for the development of the school to help future students, in the same way it has helped my brother and other students over the years.
