About 8 Months ago my Nana sadly passed away as a result of Dementia. My family have lost the glue that holds the family together but one thing we have is the memories of how amazing Nana was, she was a loving mother, dedicated Nana and amazing Great Nana - she will never be forgotten and neither will anyone else who have lost their fight!

Dementia a cruel disease that affects loved ones all around us. The disease does not have enough research, and support for those suffering, this needs to change, this is where Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
