Cambridge Half Marathon 2015 · 8 March 2015 ·

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Just before Christmas, my youngest daughter, Helen, was critically injured in a road traffic incident as she was walking to school. She was treated at the scene by the Essex Air Ambulance, and then airlifted to the Royal London Hospital.

Being attended by a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service makes a real difference to a patient's outcome. As a direct result, although Helen's rehabilitation will be lengthy, she is progressing well. Essex Air Ambulance is a registered charity that receives no direct Government funding.

Please consider supporting me as I run the Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday 8th March, by donating to the Essex Air Ambulance.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you on behalf of Essex Air Ambulance, Helen and myself,

Gael
