I am running the Eye 10k race to raise vital funds for SUDEP Action, in memory of our beautiful Jessica, who we lost in October 2015 to sudden unexpected death from epilepsy (SUDEP).

SUDEP is one of the top ten causes of early death and SUDEP action focus their attention on supporting families who have had a SUDEP bereavement, sponsoring research and education to prevent future deaths, and capturing data in the epilepsy deaths register.

On average there are 3 epilepsy related deaths per day in the UK, the majority of which are sudden unexpected epilepsy deaths. Supporting SUDEP could help bring about positive change and save lives.

By raising money for SUDEP Action I hope that more lives can be saved and other families won't have to lose their beautiful children.
