Every so often a mad thought enters your head...this time I acted on my mad thought and agreed to Sky Dive to support our nurses as part of the International Nurses day celebrations in May.

I have worked for St Raphael's Hospice for 23 years and over that time have witnessed the difference that Hospice Care can make to the lives of patients and those who take care of them. When time is short hospice care aims to make the time left as good as it can be for each individual. The ability to support this relies on the nurses who deliver  expert care, so this is why in my mad half hour I agreed to undertake the sky dive alongside other colleagues and supporters. 

Thank you in anticipation for your support of this sky dive. I hope that I will be flying high on a good thing, with the wind to my back, the sun overhead and a soft landing.
