Rockinghorse is a Brighton-based charity which has been supporting children for over 50 years. It was set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann to improve healthcare services for sick children and babies. The charity fundraises for items for every child's treatment, from toys to life-saving equipment.

Story

British Airways i360 in Brighton is the world’s tallest moving observation tower, with a giant glass pod rising from ground level to 450ft.

The first public abseil from the British Airways i360 pod will take place on Saturday 17 March, in aid of Rockinghorse.

The charity abseil will be raising funds for the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) appeal, to provide the neonatal unit in Brighton with a specialist X-Ray imaging machine. TMBU has become one of the foremost centres for treating premature and sick newborn babies, and has dramatically improved survival rates.

I am very proud to be supporting this wonderful unit through the event. Thank you so much for your donation.
