Story

We had an excellent day at the Alder Hey Children's Charity Dragon Boat Race Festival
on Saturday, winning 4 out of 4 races Team GT came second overall (out of 12 teams) only losing by 2 seconds on the best average time.

On the final run we were on course to beat the best time but were hit by a speedboat
wash that cost us the title! (imagine titanic/Perfect Storm).

Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children's Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 330,000 patients and families we care for every year.

Since April 2013, over £56m has been raised for a range of life-saving medical equipment and facilities that are making a real difference to families every day - but we still need your support.
