Story
Last year 15 people from the games industry climbed Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, and raised over £100,000 for the Entertainment Software Charity.
This year 22 like-minded individuals from the industry will take on the challenge and attempt to build upon the fundraising success of last year.
The trip will encompass 11 days away from home (including 9 days away from work - not so bad!), 70km up and down a 20,000 feet mountain with only a 70% chance of reaching the top, altitude sickness, no hairdryer, no alcohol and limited toilet facilities.
...So why am I doing this?
Because I am 100% committed to raising as much money as I can, with your help, and hopefully making a real difference to the lives of young people in Africa (Kilimanjaro Village Education Project) as well as many underprivileged kids here in the UK through the charities that ESC supports.
