MS PLAY: 24 hours playing and streaming · 7 March 2020
It's been about 4 years now that I was diagnosed with MS, I was lucky, I had 3 relapses and was diagnosed quick. There are many people out there who aren't as lucky as getting the diagnosis and as fast.
There is no cure or quick fix for this horrid disease, but with stem cell research and other DMD's we are improving the way of life and possibly curing MS.
It is hard, I try not to let it control me, however there are times where it takes over my whole life, like now. Currently I can not do anything other than sleep and rest. I missed my step dads 50th birthday party, pride, birthdays and now my sisters 1st baby shower, I'm sure these won't be the only things I miss out on.
My friends and family have always supported me as much as they can and they are doing it again by joining me in playing video games for 24 hours straight!

An MS diagnosis can be devastating. You may feel lost, alone and uncertain of the future. The MS Trust is here for the 100 people who get diagnosed with MS each week. We are here on day one, and every day after. I'm gaming for MS:PLAY to help The MS Trust ensure that the 110,000 people living with MS in the UK today are not facing MS alone. Thank you
