LSESU Gaming Society Charity Livestream

LSESU Gaming Society is raising money for SpecialEffect

LSE SU Gaming Society Charity Livestream · 4 January 2022

We're enormously grateful to everyone wanting to play stream & raise vital funds for SpecialEffect; the perfect way to do what you love whilst also transforming lives, and a great way to keep us all connected at this difficult time. Thank you :)

Story

Hi everyone.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are here to raise donations for SpecialEffect.

This charity helps disabled people play video games. They even work with gaming developers to make the games accessible as well.

Thanks to SpecialEffect, those with spinal injuries can control a computer with their eyes. SpecialEffect's specialisation is eye-tracking technology itself.

SpecialEffect also helped the disabled and vulnerable connect with their friends during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even a small donation can help improve someone's life.

A £10 donation could help purchase joystick extensions, to potentially
enable greater control of a thumbstick, with its
increased leverage.

A £50 donation will help buy a gamepad we can then modify in the
workshop with low force joysticks and buttons for
a gamer with weak hand muscles to use.

£200 could buy a single-handed controller to enable a
disabled gamer to play with just one hand.
