2Wish provides bereavement support for families who have suddenly and traumatically lost a child or young adult aged 25 years and under.
When a family loses a child or young adult the effects are devastating for all who knew and loved them. It is important that support is available if and when required.
It is important families know that they are not alone and that the feelings they are experiencing are often normal. 2Wish provides bereavement support for families who have suddenly and traumatically lost a child or young adult aged 25 years and under. When a family loses a child or young adult the effects are devastating for all who knew and loved them. I am once again putting my body through hell and cycling 120miles from Taunton to Miskin. The aches and pains are and will be worth it as I am raising money for the Child Bereavement Charity, 2Wish. The charity was started by an amazing lady Rhian Mannings after losing her son and husband a week apart. The wonderful community I am privileged to be part of has and continues to support this charity which now covers the whole of Wales.
For those that may not know my story, I lost my son Josh in July 2015, a life changing event that brutally tore my family apart. Josh was a time served aircraft engineer with GE and we were so proud of him and what he’d achieved. Just 24 when he died suddenly of an aortic dissection and subsequent heart failure.
We all miss him so much...
This really was the darkest of times for us all, completely devastated and not knowing where to turn. 2 Wish were there for us, offering support and guidance and I’m doing this ride to give something back.
This charity runs solely on the kind donations given by you the public. We’re all experiencing tough cost of living increases but it would be greatly appreciated if you can support this wonderful charity by showing your support for me and my ever aching body in completing this 120mile ride. Thank you for taking time to read this and thank you in advance for your kind donation.
